Hello Reader, Have you ever found yourself focused entirely on all the mistakes you've made or have been making - both in your life and in your CELPIP prep? Like that focus becomes all you can see? That 7 or 8 on the CELPIP that you keep getting even after 8 attempts seems to take over your thoughts and has you believing things like, "I suck at this. I'm never going to get 9. NEVER! Maybe I should just give up." In this week's podcast I'm talking about failure, and hopefully I offer you some encouraging advice. Advice that I've been taking myself lately as I've been facing my own mistakes and not a few failed attempts at different things. I hope this helps you, as much as it helped me to create! **** And speaking of failure - this week I supposedly was launching my 30 day CELPIP Speaking Skill bootcamp. But even that failed! An amazing subscriber who actually just joined the bootcamp, shared with me that for some unknown reason, my checkout links were broken - making it impossible to join! After working like crazy today, I managed to set up an alternative! If you'd like to jump in and work on your CELPIP speaking skills, then this 30 (intensive) bootcamp is for you!

The problem: they desperately need a 10 on the CELPIP for their PR. But you know what? Their real problem isn't being stuck at an 8. The real...

He's been home sick for the past few days - welcome to school life! Kids sharing everything with each other - including their germs. Happens every year! Do you have kids in school right now? How's it going? **** A quick challenge for you: pause and take look back at your week. Where have you made progress, even...
Hello Reader, I'm pushing myself to step out of my comfort zone again, and I'm doing it in a variety of ways. Before the summer I was working, semi regularly, on creating youtube videos to help you with your CELPIP prep. But I stopped because my family and I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Mexico to visit family. Two months vanished. And I didn't make any videos OR audio podcasts. Guess what happened? When I started making them again, I felt a little rusty. I made way more mistakes....
