are you open to change?

Hello Reader,

Happy Saturday to you. How did your week go?

Mine felt busy. More busy than I like it to be, and the crazy part: I made it that way. I created the busy but adding things to what I'm already doing, thinking that they were important to do.

Like what, you may ask?

The daily YouTube posting challenge I thought I'd try. I made it through a week of creating and posting shorts, and have figured out that I don't want to continue with that rhythm.

Even weirder? It was a mental topic of conversation for myself the past few days.

"But I made the challenge. I should complete it."

"What does stopping after just a week in say about you?"

"What might happen if I keep pushing and complete my 30 day self-imposed challenge?" (And that can be positive and negative.)

But the biggest thought, and the one which won: I am not giving up and walking out of the ring. I'm altering the how of the way I work towards my objective to make it doable with my life and schedule at the moment.

Daily posting = overload.

Instead of daily, I've decided to do weekly, and leaning into long form.

And perhaps a sprinkle of shorts here and there if the mood strikes me.

Why this might help you?

Ever feel like you've locked yourself into something that initially sounded good, doable, or important? Like what you locked into doing was going to help you achieve something important, only to realize part way in that what you thought you'd be able to do was actually tanking your energy or mental reserves?

That might even be happening with the way you practice your english or CELPIP skills.

Maybe your rhythm is becoming too heavy to bear.

What I hope I can encourage you to do today, if that's you, is to not stop working toward your objective.

Don't give up.

But do alter the how of what you're doing.

Would you like some help changing that how so you keep pursuing your CELPIP or english goals while protecting your mental health or relationships or______________ (you know what I'm missing) then join me for a free - totally free - 30 minute CELPIP clarity call.

The problem: they desperately need a 10 on the CELPIP for their PR. But you know what? Their real problem isn't being stuck at an 8. The real...
