This is a top speaking and writing tip

Hi Reader,

The tip? Get to the point. Quickly. and you will notice your speaking and writing scores begin to improve.

How's that for getting to the point?

Want a podcast episode on the topic? Try this: How to increase your CELPIP speaking scores.

Getting to the point matters far more than you may realize for both speaking and writing.

When you take too long to make your point, you say goodbye to precious seconds that you plain and simple don't get a lot of! And you need to use as much of your time as you possibly can to deliver the strongest answer you can.

For writing, it's the same issue. Taking too long to get to your point stuffs your word count, and you must make every one of those 150-200 words count!

Effective responses use descriptions of places, people and feelings. They offer explanations about why you said what you said, not just stating your answer. Details. They matter for both speaking and writing.

But you have to get to your point quickly to use as many of them as you can.

Do you find it difficult to get to the point, or do you feel it comes easy to you?

Hit reply and let me know. I would love to hear from you.

Have a great week!

Aaron

Hello Reader, Your walk home from work, or around your neighbourhood can easily turn into a fun CELPIP speaking task practice session if you're alert to what's going on around you. How about this?
